I want to join a Group but it says I don't have permission. What can I do?

If a Group is open to the public, all you have to do to join is to go to the registration page and become a ThirdAge member, then join the Group. However, some Groups are private or only accept new members by application. If a Group is open by application, you can fill it out and the Group moderator will get in touch with you.

If a Group is private, that means it is not accepting new members. If you are interested in the subject but you don't see a public Group on ThirdAge, why not start one yourself?
